This miniature work captures a true Richmond Park sunset. The sky lights up with warm hues as the sun dips behind the park’s familiar trees and open fields. Known for its roaming deer and timeless charm, Richmond Park comes to life in this scene, offering a straightforward, everyday reminder of nature’s simple beauty.

Richmond Park is the largest of London’s Royal Parks, covering 2,500 acres—big enough to fit all of Hyde Park, Regent’s Park, and St James’s Park combined. It’s home to around 600 red and fallow deer that have roamed freely since the 1600s. The park is also a National Nature Reserve and a great spot for stargazing, thanks to its relatively dark skies for a London location.

Original, one-of-a-kind work.

Oil on board.

Sold unframed.

Circa 10cm x 10cm
