An original, hand-pulled linocut print. Designed, hand-carved, and hand-printed by me.
Linocut is a traditional technique, and the manual process means every print is slightly unique.
This print involved using three separate blocks for each ink colour, and using transparent mixers to get the see-through effect for the glass candle holders.
Printed on archival Japanese Sunome Senaka 52 gsm paper using oil-based ink. This delicate, translucent paper benefits from white backing when being framed, and each order includes a piece of acid-free backing paper.
Dispatched in a recyclable, sturdy envelope.
A4 size (21 × 29.7 cm)
Limited colour edition of 7 prints. Once these are sold, no more will be printed in this colourway

Megan Tailford carves every block and pulls every print by hand. Nothing is reproduced digitally and nothing is printed by a machine. She prints some of it on paper she mills herself out of misprints and junk mail.
