Nemeton is a pair of borosilicate glass earrings from the I Dedico range, hung on hypoallergenic stainless steel fittings. Each earring is a single piece of glass, shaped while soft and left to show the marks of the flame.
Greig Alderman makes every pair by lampworking at his studio in Manchester, working borosilicate glass directly in the flame. The earrings were developed to accompany his I Dedico bangles, which respond to Romano-British glass bangles of the 1st and 2nd centuries AD.
Colour, form and pattern shift slightly from pair to pair, so the earrings you receive may differ a little from the ones pictured. They arrive on an I Dedico lampwork card.
Weight is a light 'barely there' feel, at 2g per earring.
