Oak leaves cut in relief across a quarter-sawn oak panel, the ground taken back so the leaves stand proud and the medullary rays of the oak run through them. Relief panels are commissioned for overmantels, door panels and memorial boards. The design is drawn onto the board first and cut to suit the grain that is actually there.
