Rounded turned palm wood bowl with mottled gold and brown colouring from seasoning

Seasoned Palm Bowl

by Turn and Burn UKPrice on application

Palm turns paper white when it is green, and then changes as it seasons. This bowl was turned from a piece given to Dorset Woodturners and left to dry, and the mottled golds and browns came up during the seasoning rather than out of a bottle. Andy takes commissions in timber a client brings him, including species he has not turned before. What the wood does as it dries is part of what you are commissioning.
