Wood-fired jar and cups

A lidded jar and two handled cups, decorated with slip and fired in the Girel sustainable wood kiln at Mid Wales Art Centre in Caersws. They were shown at Catalyst at the Umbrella Art Centre in Cardiff in 2024. Wood firing takes days and the kiln is loaded and stoked by a group rather than one person, which is why this kind of surface is not something a maker can produce alone.
