A pale blue faceted gem fills the whole bowl of the glass, a cream petal floating on it. A cream rose and its leaves lie at the foot, against a navy block on a magenta ground.
KR Moorhead cuts every element by hand from a secondhand cocktail guide and an illustrated encyclopedia, with nothing printed and nothing sourced online. It is mounted on 200 to 300gsm cardstock and measures 2.5 by 3.5 inches, the standard trading card size, and it is titled, signed and dated on the reverse.
The piece arrives in a protective sleeve inside a stiff folded card, held with photo corners so it lifts out without being touched. At this size it is meant to be propped rather than hung, and it should be kept out of direct sunlight, which will fade secondhand paper faster than new.
