A bee-eater stands on a low white sofa, head down over the coffee table, at several times the size of the room. Behind the bookcase the wall opens onto a blue mountain range. This was the first of KR's larger pieces, and started a run of birds in 70's interior design settings.
The original was cut by hand from secondhand books and magazines in KR Moorhead's Norwich studio. The postcard features a 12 by 12cm square print version on 330gsm stock, matte on the front and uncoated on the back.
The back is blank, so it can be written on and posted as it is, or sent in the square white envelope included. It comes in a protective sleeve, and at this size it displays as well as it posts.

KR Moorhead cuts collages by hand in Norwich, from books and materials found in charity shops. Nothing is printed, digitally manipulated or searched for online, so whatever can be physically sourced, determines what can be made.
