A lidded butter dish in vibrant blue, the domed lid rising to a pinched handle and the tray beneath glazed a glossy turquoise.
Hand-built rather than thrown, so the walls are shaped by hand and the corners stay soft. Annie Rose Edwards makes it from stoneware in her New Cross studio. Roughly 11 by 13 by 7cm.
The outside is a stony matte blue and the inside a glossy turquoise, a deliberate contrast between the two surfaces. The bottom tray has a slight wobble to it, which is why it is priced as it is.
