A hound at full stretch, low and long with the tail lifted, the only horizontal animal in the group.
Speckled stoneware, pinched from one lump in the fingers with no mould. The length is the difficult part: at roughly 9.5cm nose to tail and only 4cm high, the whole weight rests on four short legs. About 2cm through.
A mossy green glaze with purple undertones settles over the iron speckle in the clay and reads as lichen grown on stone. He is at his best seen from the side, where the whole line of the back shows.
