A collar that sits tight to the neck, around 3.5 cm wide, its surface set with small faceted glass beads of 2 mm whose cut facets give an even, restrained sparkle rather than an obvious shine.
Ksenia hand-sets the beads onto black cotton cords using a traditional pearl setting technique, then outlines the edge with a metallic cord she makes herself from antique thread. The back is fully finished in leather, and an adjustable lobster clasp closes the collar securely.
This is the only necklace made with this particular bead; the piece is one of a kind.
