"Shared Breath" is one of the brighter pieces in Jessica's current group. Bursts of colour and dynamic forms across the board, balanced against passages where the brush slows and the painting catches its own pause.
The work is expressive in the strict sense: the marks carry weight, the colour is doing the emotional work, and the title is the closest Jessica will come to saying what the painting is about. Two presences in a moment of common air. After that, the painting stops explaining itself and lets the viewer in.
Approximately 30 by 40 centimetres, oil on board, sold unframed. An original, finished, signed off as complete.
