A circular ornament from Ksenia's Jewels of Winter series. Curved cords are laid into a symmetrical snowflake pattern and the spaces filled with white, silver and blue beads; translucent finishes mixed with opaque ones let the surface catch the light gently, with a cool, crisp look.
Ksenia works in the pearl-setting technique, combining glass and plastic beads in different sizes for contrast and texture. Each ornament is made individually, and no two are identical.
The reverse is covered in pale velvet, and a ribbon is attached for hanging on a tree, a branch or a display hook.
