A dahlia in deep red, worked as a brooch. Sequins and beads are embroidered in layers that follow the flower's petals, and a rhinestone chain hung with a single blood-drop bead falls beneath the bloom, tipping the piece towards the gothic.
Ksenia embroiders each brooch by hand, placing every sequin and bead individually to build the layered petal surface.
It measures approximately 6-6.5 cm and is a limited edition; only three have been made.
