Questions
Can I buy from The Haud in the United States?
Yes. Every piece on this page can be delivered to the US, and import duties and brokerage are included in the price at checkout, so there is nothing more to pay on delivery.
When do I need to order for Christmas 2026?
By Friday 4 December 2026 for ready-to-ship pieces. Made-to-order pieces take longer, so message the maker first if you need it by a date.
Is there anything you can't send to the US?
Anything larger than 150 × 60 × 60 cm or heavier than 20kg, orders over £1,800 from one maker, and blades or liquid fragrances. For one of these, message the maker, who can arrange the delivery with us.
Can I return a piece from the US?
Faulty pieces are covered in full, but we can't take change-of-mind returns on US orders.
What is a good British gift for an American?
Something made in a craft with a long history here, made by the person named on it.
